Breaking news: Starr Hill’s presence at Capital One Center continues to grow 🎉 and we couldn’t be happier to make this announcement!
We will expand our footprint with our new street level brewpub - slated to open in early 2024! Once open, the Starr Hill Brewpub will complement the Biergarten on the Perch and will offer an expanded culinary menu combined with the amazing Starr Hill brand craft beer, plus wine and spirits that our DMV fans have come to love.
With two separate bars, over 20 beers on tap, and some high-end cocktail offerings, all of us at Starr Hill Brewery and at Capital One Center are thrilled to welcome this Americana-inspired restaurant experience.

Starr Hill Expands Retail Presence at Capital One Center with Street Level Brewpub

Tysons, VA – Starr Hill Brewery announces plans to expand their retail footprint at Capital One Center -- the 3 million sq. ft. mixed-use development at Capital One’s global headquarters, located directly off the McLean Metro Station. Starr Hill will lease an additional 7,572 square foot retail space for the new Starr Hill Brewpub located on the street level under their popular rooftop biergarten and is slated to open in early 2024. Starr Hill Biergarten, the rooftop experience located on The Perch at Capital One Center, opened in the Summer of 2021. It has seen huge success with its outdoor patio space and adjacent amphitheater, offering a wide array of live entertainment including live music, movie nights, fitness classes, and more.

Once open, the new Brewpub will see an expanded culinary menu as well as a high-end bar program. Starr Hill will also be launching a renewed and updated food menu for its current Biergarten with the addition of its new Executive Chef Steve Winterling beginning in July 2023.
The Brewpub will feature 2 separate bars with over 20 beers on tap, complimented by a robust cocktail menu and a variety of ciders and wines. The expanded food menu will focus on Americana, high-quality pub fare, offering a mouthwatering selection of classic and innovative dishes, designed to perfectly complement Starr Hill’s award-winning beers. An impressive seating capacity of over 225 seats will include an outdoor patio area and a stunning 2,000 square feet mezzanine.

Ometeo, a Tex-Mex concept curated by the restaurant group behind The Salt Line and Dauphine’s
Sisters Thai, who will open their 5th and largest location in the DMV with an outpost of their Magnolia Boutique Dessert Bar and Coffee
Ox & Rye, a contemporary American concept from the restaurant group behind Copperwood Tavern, Quinn's on the Corner, Dudley's Sport and Ale and more
In addition to Starr Hill Biergarten, The Perch offers an 18-hole miniature golf experience at Perch Putt with food trucks, as well as a games plaza, interactive art sculptures, and a dog park. The Perch sits atop of Capital One Hall, a corporate and performing arts center, and adjacent to The Watermark Hotel. In total, Capital One Center will have over 250,000 sq. ft. of retail space.
